Students who are at least 13 years old and/or entering the 6th grade or higher next fall, are needed for the Summer 2010 TRAVELIN’ TIGERs. Those who meet all the requirements and are accepted will be trained to present the Gospel through music, drama and personal sharing.

The TRAVELIN’ TIGERs will reach out to several Tri-State communities, presenting the Gospel to hundreds of people through Fair Share at county fairs and festivals, area churches, and TTT Saturday nights.

The TRAVELIN’ TIGERs summer will include a time of “debrief,” including fun and relaxation at Holiday World with the entire group, and time to prepare to share their summer experience with family, friends, and church.

Each TRAVELIN’ TIGER participant will need to raise personal prayer support and $125 per week in financial support to cover the cost of involvement. TTT Christian Youth Ministries will provide a “Support Packet” to help each participant tell the story and raise the necessary prayer and financial support. Students may also work together on various fundraising projects.

Each TRAVELIN’ TIGER needs to make a commitment to be involved at least one week during the summer Fair Share, and hopefully several weeks. TRAVELIN’ TIGER Application Packets are available upon request from TTT Christian Youth Ministries. Included is a Student Volunteer Survey, parent/guardian permission and medical release form, pastor’s recommendation form, and other important details regarding the TRAVELIN’ TIGERs.

We are looking forward to a great summer of 2010 with the 20th annual TRAVELIN’ TIGERs summer ministry team, and we are praying for committed Christian teenagers and adult leaders to be a part of the team.
